Lemon Glaze Frosting

5 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp sugar
Cook mixture for a few seconds until sugar is dissolved and brush over bread.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1 sm pkg (3oz) cream cheese, softened
¼ cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat. Add milk a tablespoon at a time to desired consistency. Spread on top of cake.

8 minute Frosting

2 unbeaten egg whites
1 ½ cups sugar
5 Tbsp cold water
¼ tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler, and place over boiling water. Beat constantly with beater for 8 minutes exactly. Remove from head, add vanilla and continue beating until frosting is the right consistency to spread.
